Hey, all! I’ve been in contact with the pastor of a fledgling mission congregation in Manchester, UK, and he reached out with a request for some help with social media ministry. The congregation is in fellowship with WELS.
This is definitely outside of my wheelhouse, but I’m wondering if anyone in this group might have ideas or suggestions on how to support this work. Let me know if you have any ideas, or feel free to reach out to Pete Myers (pastor at Manchester Lutheran) directly -

Hi guys,
Allen Sorum has put me in touch with Matt Rothe. He's given me some great materials about church planting.
We planted our church here with so few people. One thing that would be super helpful for us would be volunteers who might be willing to help with our digital and social media outreach.
Could I please reach out to you all and ask if there would be anyone in your congregations who might please be willing to help us with one of the following areas?
—Media Ministry Assistant: Someone to help promote our audio and video materials (currently it's all on YouTube and Spotify. We'd love to produce a lot more, but I'm struggling with time. This person would edit and upload videos and/or audio resources to these and a variety of other outlets, and help to grow these channels by writing video descriptions, etc.)
—Social Media Ministry Assistant: Someone to help grow our Facebook page, and also get the church on other platforms that may help promote what we're doing, e.g. X or whatever else.
—Website Ministry Assistant: Someone to keep improving our website incrementally.
We would produce all the copy/writing/audio/video needed, and these volunteers would help with editing, production, and promotion.
Ideally, the volunteers would meet with me once a week for a team meeting.
Even more so than money, having volunteers to help with these areas would make a massive, massive difference to us, and free me up to do a lot more Word ministry with people.
