Dear friends,

We're pleased to announce the release of the Kanchenjunga font for the Kirat Rai script. The Kirat Rai script is used to write the Bantawa language in the Sikkim state of India. Kanchenjunga is the first Unicode font family for the Kirat Rai script of South Asia. The font is named after the third highest mountain in the world, located on the border between Sikkim state in northeast India and eastern Nepal.

This font includes:
  • Four weights (Regular, Medium, SemiBold, and Bold)
  • OpenType character variants
  • TypeTuner support for those character variants
  • A basic set of Latin glyphs mainly for compatibility and occasional use.

Both desktop and web fonts are provided in all-platforms packages on the Kanchenjunga Download page.

See more about the font on the Home page.
