Good afternoon,

I wanted to give you all an update on the STEM Lab, GIE kits and garden lessons.

The lab is clean now and the next steps are: We need a volunteer to lead this project.

1. Purchase storage containers for a few items

2. Divide some items such as calculators, measuring tapes, etc.  in half for both STEM Labs

We have a list from the teachers of supplies needed to make GIE kits. We need a volunteer to lead this project.

1. We need to make a master list of supplies  for the 80 kits and see what we have and what to order.

2. purchase 4 sets of  1/1/2 inch binders and dividers for the teacher guides.

3. purchase 80 (4 teachers x 19 activities)

4. Set a date to make all 80 kits once we have the supplies

3.       October 17 we will be working with all kindergarten classes to make layers of rock types.

4.       October 20th we will be working with all first grade classes to make weather reporting instruments for the garden and playground area.

5.       October 27th we will be doing the water cylce with all first grade classes in the garden.
