[I'm CC'ing the Sagamore STEM discussion group because I think others would like to know this too…]

Just this year Sagamore started a by-teacher-recomendation robotics club for about 15 3-5th graders. Mr. Barnes & Ms. Garrett started with FIRST Robotics programs. The 4th & 5th graders participated in the FIRST LEGO League, while the 3rd graders did FIRST LEGO League Jr.

Then, last month, Ms. Quinn & Ms. Garrett learned about the SeaPerch program and have been working very hard with the robotics team to cram months of learning, building, and just plain time, into just a few weeks, in preparation for this Saturday's event.

That looks like a fun project. What grades are involved in this?

I’ve forgotten most of I learned about soldering and electronics but have recently picked up an Arduino board to hopefully get back into such things.

Didn’t know you had a background in CS.
