Things are happening with our Captain Planet Project Learning Garden (CPPLG)
I am delighted to share that Sagamore received two flats of plants through our grant from the Captain Planet Foundation! One flat just so happened to contain 15 assorted Pollinator plants. These have been designated to 5th grade to use in the space we reserved for our Pollinator Garden during the installation. Ain should have the planting instructions to us sometime this week. Even without the instructions, I'm confident our combined planting skills can get us through this. The most important thing we have to consider is that the pollinators we received will grow five times (5x's) their present size. Any extra's that cannot fit into our 5th Grade bed will be given to Garden Club. The sooner we can get these precious plants in the ground the better.
Fourth Grade was designated the other flat, which contains 32 Vegetables. I have requested to do a planting with them after testing on Monday. If you need my help with your planting, I am available Tuesday (let me know when so that I can adjust my schedule) or Wednesday (after testing?). I will not be at school Thursday or Friday.
Thank you for ALWAYS being willing to help Sagamore students BE MORE by DOING MORE!
