Sheri, my name is Dave Barker. I have a 3rd grader and kindergartener at Sagamore Hills and am heading communications for the PTA.

Thank you so much for what you've done toward creating a foundation for Sagamore Hills!

Similar to what I'm doing for the PTA, I'd like to help foundation efforts encourage collaboration and maintain continuity. That's why I've set up an email list and an online drive (see sagamorehillspta.org/foundation ).

Can I help you put your foundation related documents in the Foundation folder of the PTA's Google Drive? That way they'll always be available to anyone who wants to help move the foundation forward, now or in the future.

It will also make working collaboratively on documents much easier, such as by-laws. For example, I started a status/to do list document that anyone can edit.

I've CC'ed the foundation group on this message, so I'll email you privately with a password and provide any specific help you need there.

Again, thanks so much for what you've done! I hope to make it easier for folks other than yourself to contribute.

As foundation activity builds around Wednesday the 11th's meeting, just wanted to remind/encourage folks to take advantage of the PTA's Google Drive/Docs to store/organize/share foundation related documents and such (see http://sagamorehillspta.org/foundation ).

Dave,

I uploaded the registration with the SOS and the EIN from the IRS.  Waiting on an affidavit from the Champion newspaper showing that the Notice of Incorporation has been published.

I just joined the Coralwood Foundation Board and I have some documents (BYLAWS, Budget, etc.) that might be helpful to us.

BTW - I have already incurred about $185.00 in expenses getting this started.  To do this right, we may need to spend some additional $$ paying someone with more experience to help us.  Something we should discuss.

Next step should be convening a group who is willing to start putting the meat of this foundation together.
