Subject: BOOSTERTON.COM - My take

With 420 students, a donation of $100.00 AVERAGE should be easy to get without paying to Boosterton . During Covid SHE just did that - just asked for funds and got a record level, so why go back to a IMO cumbersome and not effective way to get funds - that also cost money in fees to Boosterton.com ?

Maybe because it is fun, could be a reason?

Yep, exactly, because it is fun.

This has been an opportunity for all of the kids at SHES to have a fun week filled with school spirit, the kind of trinkets kids go nuts over, and a super cool fun run tomorrow. We are paying Boosterthon for this school spirit experience for the kids while we get to raise money.

What I see is that our awesome school community is willing to respond generously to two big fundraisers in the same school year. Each one offers a different format/focus, and that seems to work well.

Big thanks to everyone who helped make the Skedaddle happen, and to everyone who participated in getting pledges! Excited to see the kids do their laps tomorrow.
