Hi all,

My colleagues found this:

https://build.opensuse.org/package/binaries/openSUSE:Factory:RISCV/chromium/standard

Has anyone tried it?

Hi all,

My colleague Junqiang has tested on Allwinner Nezha/D1 w/ openEuler[1]
Linux Distro. It works.

But the D1 itself does not have a GPU so the gpu_init failed. We are
preparing to have a go on Unmatched w/ AMD GPU.

Given that the JS Engine that the Chromium uses is V8, which had been
ported to riscv64[2] and upstreamed a few months ago, we are very
optimistic that it will run really faster than all other riscv64
browsers.

It is very likely that VSCode for riscv64 will come soon!

[1] openEuler is yet another Linux distribution: https://openeuler.org
[2] You can open issues here if you met any problems when using V8:
https://github.com/riscv-collab/v8 Thanks Peng Wu (Facebook), Brice
Dobry (FutureWei), Ji Qiu (PLCT, ISCAS) and Yahan Lu (PLCT, ISCAS) for
porting and maintaining the riscv64 port.

The chromium package from
<https://build.opensuse.org/package/binaries/home:Andreas_Schwab:riscv:chromium/chromium/standard>
is now working.

Andreas.
