I did this inside build directory of my riscv-isa-sim:

1) ../configure --enable-commitlog --with-isa=RV64IMAFD --prefix=$RISCV
2)make
3) Sudo make install

But when I am trying to run ./build.sh of riscv-tools directory, then it is again deleting the build directory of riscv-isa-sim and then again reconfiguring and building risc-isa-sim.
Could anyone please tell the detailed steps to how to do  --enable-commitlog ? I am new in this area.

Thanks and Regards,
Aditya Kumar

Why are you rebuilding all of the tools?
If you need to do this then just configure your manual build of Spike to install in a separate directory and use it from there?
Alternatively edit the Spike configure command in the riscv-tools build.sh?
