The open wifi card project wants to provide a 802.11n,
maybe 802.11ac, wifi card which allows access to
all source code and design.

According to Xianjun,
the level of development has reached 50%. 100% being
tapeout level.

Due to the scale of the task everyone is incited to contribute.
Options are crowdfunding and applying for funds
and asking universities to participate.

Can you tell if you know about universities potentially interested
in contributing? The self interest of the universities is, that
they would get an open wifi card useable for teaching. Please
inform universities or tell me who I should contact?

Developing the wifi card could also be part of a teaching
schedule.
