The original model Milk-V Duo is the same price (recently it was
cheaper at $2.99).

The dual CPUs are 64 bit not 32 bit, the main CPU is 6x faster than
the CPUs in the Pico 2 (1.0 GHz), and has not only an MMU and FPU but
also a 128 bit vector unit. And it has more than 100 times more RAM
(64 MB vs 520 KB).
And runs LInux.
You download the OS (Buildroot is standard), copy it to an SD card,
insert the card, attach the Duo to your PC with a USB cable, and ssh
in to it. You can build programs using the normal RISC-V toolchain on
your PC, scp them to the Duo, and run them there. It has enough RAM
that you *could* install emacs/vi and gcc on the SD card and run them
on the Duo itself.
