E.g. what you're trying to do, what repo you're using, what (`git clone`, `configure`, `make` etc.) commands you used to get to this stage, what problem you've encountered, what error messages you get, a log of what went before, what OS environment you're using etc.

The little info that you HAVE provided is meaningless ("I checked the root too").

yes, I am sorry. I am new to this environment of git.

I cloned git repository, https://github.com/riscv-software-src/riscv-isa-sim.git, which is for spike simulation and also a repo of c-class, where i need to source this spike shell script.

I also tried cloning again the the spike simulator. But still facing the same error.
