Does the latest version of lowriscv rocket chip supports RoCC extension. If yes is there any guidelines that I can refer to activate the RoCC in the rocket chip? The structure of the lowriscv chip is very different from the berkeley rocket chip. Hence I am not sure to configure to enable the RoCC

Hi Claire. This question might be better asked on lowrisc-dev
<https://listmaster.pepperfish.net/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/lowrisc-dev-lists.lowrisc.org>,
or on lowRISC GitHub. In fact, someone asked a similar question a few
days ago <https://github.com/lowRISC/lowrisc-chip/issues/61>. As
explained in that issue, although RoCC functionality is there, it's
not something we are able to provide support for. Although we hope to
move to a newer Rocket version once things stabilise and the
redesigned interfaces are deciphered, we're currently building on a
version of Rocket from ~Summer 2016. You might be able to find RoCC
guidance or tutorials from around that time which would help you. As
Wei commented on that issue, the documentation from Michael Taylor's
group is excellent https://bitbucket.org/taylor-bsg/bsg_riscv

Best,

Alex
