Hi,
Thanks for your hard-works on risc-v.
I'm planning to port BOOM to the FPGA on the F1 node of aws.
I wish to run it directly on the FPGA rather than via firesim.
I'm quite new to the FPGA stuff, could anyone tell me about the procedure and possible pitfalls?
Also, I'm curious about how long this may takes.

I saw this discussion, but it seems they haven't succeeded.
Thanks,
Rao

What about something like this which I found with a quick Google search?

That repo has not been maintained, and it will be quite the challenge to adapt that to the newer versions of Boom.
Support for FPGA prototyping flows has recently been added to Chipyard.
Currently, FPGA prototyping support is limited to local VCU118s and Arty boards, but the same approach could be followed to add support for F1 FPGAs.

Thanks for the information, so currently there is only these two FPGA board supported right?
We will consider purchase VCU118 after we finish verification on FireSim.
Best,
Rao
