CA/B Forum Network Security WG Chair Election Ballot
The voting period to elect a Chair of the CA/Browser Forum Network Security Working Group starts today, 2024-09-09 at 11:00 am Eastern Time, and ends at 2024-09-16 at 11:00 am.
There are 2 nominations for this Chair position: David Kluge (Google Trust Services) and Clint Wilson (Apple).
The election committee has been appointed and is composed of Clemens Wanko and Tim Crawford.
Votes must be sent ONLY to Clemens Wanko (clemen...@tuv-austria.com) and Tim Crawford (tcra...@bdo.com).
**You MUST send your vote to BOTH Clemens and Tim**. ONLY ONE VOTE PER VOTING MEMBER ORGANIZATION.
Each Member has one equal vote, regardless of whether its class of membership is a Certificate Issuer or Certificate Consumer. The election committee will tally the last vote submitted by a qualified voting member during the voting period.
All votes will be considered confidential information by the election committee.
The candidate with the most votes on this ballot is appointed to the position of Chair.

Purpose of Ballot
This special election ballot is to elect the new Chair of the CA/B Forum Network Security Working Group between two candidates.
The following motion has been proposed by the CA/B Forum Chair Dimitris Zacharopoulos of HARICA.
Motion Begins
In accordance with section 4.1 of the Bylaws, Voting Representatives of Voting Members of the CA/B Forum Network Security Working Group must vote one of the following candidates:
- David Kluge (Google Trust Services)
- Clint Wilson (Apple)
Motion Ends
During the discussion period, each candidate is welcome to submit an optional statement to the Member's Mailing List (management list).
The procedure for approval of this ballot is as follows:
Discussion (7 days exactly)
- Start time: 2024-09-02 at 11:00 am Eastern Time
- End time: 2024-09-09 at 11:00 am Eastern Time
Vote for approval (7 days)
- Start time: 2024-09-09 at 11:00 am Eastern Time
