Survey for Validation Summit

Hello,

As discussed on yesterday’s call, the first step in creating the survey to collect data for the Validation Summit is identifying the questions for the survey.

 

So far, there are two questions:

 

1. Which validation methods are used by the CA?
1. As mentioned on yesterday’s call, the specific language of this question will need to omit soon to be deprecated methods (#2 and #15)
2. How often is each validation method used?
1. Should this be a raw count, or percentage of total? Raw counts may de-anonymize the data given CT.

 

Please respond with your thoughts on the first two questions or ideas for additional items. We can discuss here on the list and review at our next meeting in two weeks.

Hi Corey, et al.,

In yesterday’s validation meeting, I mentioned that the first question could be overcome by events with the publication of a custom report providing the latest validation method data from the CCADB upon retrieval.

If this seems like a valuable report, the CCADB Steering Committee can look into hosting it on https://www.ccadb.org/resources.
