All,
Based on an AI analysis of about 10 of our more recent CABF meetings, here is a draft template for meeting minutes.
We can convert this to markdown and save it to the wiki or GitHub after we have discussed it further.
Let's discuss and then circulate this on the management list, too.
Thanks,
Ben

Ben,

I´d add another topic after section 4 and before 5, called “Membership applications”. It could be handled on section 5 about Discussion topics, but maybe it´s clearer to have a separate bullet.

Regards

Any further updates on the EU CRA deliverable on browser security and CABF's engagement?  The EC has tasked with ETSI TC CYBER being responsible for the deliverable.  ETSI has pointed out that the subject matter primarily falls into the realm of CABF and its members, and that it is essential they engage in the work.  Failure to do so arguably may result in sub-optimal results. 🙂

Ref. attached CRA, page 71 line item Class I, 2 Standalone and embedded browsers.

best,

Hi Tony,
I attended the meeting when the Work Item was approved, but I haven't heard anything since, and the meeting schedule for TC Cyber was a little confusing, and I wasn't sure what other meetings to attend. Someone should take the lead, and there should be discussions, but I don't have the bandwidth.

Hi Ben,

Understand the confusion.  There is significant organization and acronym overload.  The work is ensuing in an ETSI subgroup known as CYBERUSR.  The site portal is at https://portal.etsi.org/tb.aspx?tbid=919&SubTB=919#/
The specific work item is designated DEN/CYBER-EUS-006 at  https://portal.etsi.org/webapp/WorkProgram/Report_WorkItem.asp?WKI_ID=74408  The division of the work between "stand alone browsers" and "embedded browsers" is about to be glued together again.  Note the supporting organisations. and a presently uncertain rapporteur.  The ETSI staff support person is Laure Pourcin.

Let me know if anyone needs anything.

best,
tony

Thanks, Tony - I've just forwarded you contact information for Sylvestre Ledru, Mozilla's point-of-contact on this matter.
Thanks again,
