I am concerned about the methodology and manner in which Society Deputies are contacting Kingdom Deputies and not including the Earl Marshal.

Contact with any society deputy, should immediately initiate a CC to me and the Emergency Deputy.

Unless of course, this is a personal conversation between the participants. 

Any act which will change the play of the activity within our Kingdom will be forwarded to my office.  There is no routine direction from society.  There is direction that could change how we play and the Earl Marshal needs that information.  

All Quarterly reports will be CC'd to the EM and Emergency Deputy.  

I will not make decisions as to our offices in a vacuum.  I will also not allow changes to be made that me, our crowns and our populace don't know are coming.  

Society Marshal and her deputies are doing a good job on the rules rewrite.  However, they are not including the Earls Marshal regularly.  

In order to guide Atlantia through these changes, minimize the fuss to the participants and ensure compliance: the more fore knowledge the EM have the better for playability.  

The SCA is a social construct: we play together.  Focusing on the play allows all participants more fun.  

I am concerned about this.  The narrow focus and bias of individuals about play at high level concerns me.  

My office is concerned with risk management and safety.  We balance those as best we can, so play is fun.  Please, help me ensure the fun.
