Greetings Atlantia!

Their Royal Highnesses of Atlantia are hereby taking applications to fill the Kingdom Minister of Arts and Sciences position

The KMoAS is a Great Officer of Atlantia. In that capacity, he/she/they are bound to fulfill the duties of a Great Officer as outlined in Kingdom Law and Policy.  The KMoAS is expected to perform a variety of administrative duties such as maintaining rosters of local A&S officers and KMoAS deputies, attending meetings, and reviewing kingdom and corporate policy. The KMoAS is responsible for maintaining the content of the MoAS pages on Atlantia’s website. The KMoAS is also responsible for oversight of the University of Atlantia and The Oak, the royal notable competitions, and ensuring that the kingdom-level A&S contests take place as intended.

One need not be the holder of an A&S award to fulfill these tasks, although it is usually the case that the job goes to a member of the A&S community. It is implicit in the office that the holder provides leadership and support, and thoughtfully assesses the concerns and needs of the artists and scientists in our fair kingdom. There is a brief description on the MoAS resources webpage (https://moas.atlantia.sca.org/what-does-a-moas-do/).

If you are interested in filling this essential office, please send a Letter of Intent to Their Highnesses (trh {at} Atlantia.sca.org) and to myself (seneschal {at} officer.atlantia.sca.org) before Monday, October 6.

If you have any questions about the office and duties, please feel free to reach out to me.
