IF Project Updates 24/10/24

Hi folks,

Quick set of updates for IF this week.

We released v0.7.1 last week that had some important updates, including:

- improved debugging logs

- separation of time and component aggregation

- inline arithmetic

- append feature

- mapping feature for renaming parameters

- distinguish between idle servers and servers that are switched off in the interpolate builtin

And much more. See the changelog here.

We've also updated the IF plugin interface. Now we use a factory pattern that's far easier to handle than the original model. 

In addition, we've been applying IF to a range of use cases and adding the completed manifests with explanatory notes to this repository:

I've also been onboarding external folks onto IF, helping them to apply it to their real world applications.
