Join Us for the 2025 Shoreline and Shallows Conference!
The Michigan Natural Shoreline Partnership’s biennial Shoreline and Shallows Conference returns to Michigan State University’s Kellogg Center in East Lansing on Friday, October 17, 2025.
This year’s theme, “Restoring Resiliency to Shorelines” will explore key aspects of natural shorelines including native plants, plant changes and water levels, sediment movement, habitat impacts to wildlife, local examples of natural shoreline implementation and more. Designed for both professionals and homeowners, the conference offers valuable insights into the vital role inland lake shorelines play in supporting healthy ecosystems—and how to protect them.
