Muskegon Lake Area of Concern Draft Final Delisting Report - Public Notice and Meeting

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and the Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy are proposing to delist the Muskegon Lake Area of Concern based the achievement of management actions, removal of the Beneficial Use Impairments, and decades of restoration. The draft Final Delisting Report is available at Muskegon Lake AOC (michigan.gov).

 

The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Michigan Department of Environment, Great Lakes, and Energy will also host a public meeting to seek additional input on the draft Final Muskegon Lake Delisting Report July 1, 2025, 12:00 p.m. at the Grand Valley State Annis Water Resources Institute (740 W. Shoreline Dr., Muskegon, MI 49441).
