Installation problem

Hello,

Couple of days earlier, I have installed grasehotspot on a Ubuntu 14.04 LTS server hosted at a vps on digitalocean.com. I have managed to install it successfully. In my router I have dd-wrt and I enabled chillispot hotspot. Router is connected to internet through a PPPoE dialup. Now whenever I try to access wifi from my router it get's me to the uam login page and after submitting the login form, I get redirected to 10.1.0.1:3390/login with a 404 response! 

Since I am a beginner on hotspot, I need to know what I am doing wrong. Thank you!

Hi Shamir

The Grasehotspot package isn't yet designed for hosting in the cloud with dd-wrt. There are plans in the future to support that. Currently, it's designed to be installed on the router, or a computer on site.

There are other hotspot packages out there designed for what you are doing. If you are familiar with Radius and Coova Chilli (Chillispot), then you can indeed connect dd-wrt to a Grase Hotspot server, however I don't currently have instructions for this as I don't have time to invest in writing a howto on this. If you do want to work it out, we can certainly help on the mailing list, and then publish your results on the wiki.

Thank you very much for your reply. Can you suggest any other packages that satisfy my requirements? Any existing solution will help me better. Thank you!
