Dear Group,

Maybe this has been answered before but I was unable to find any instructions on how to disable content filtering in the hotspot. Can anyone advise how this is done?

Hi Daniel,

That is the complaint. No porn through the hotspot. I have been using version 3.8 for a while now and did not realise this was a problem. The system has been restarted several times and there that is not the solution. Is there any config file I can check?

Regards

Quick question,

is this on a standard "as instructed" 3.08 installation, as there is no content filtering on that (at least... after your first reboot)  i know i had this issue when i first installed Grase, but it resolved itself after a reboot. i suspect that one of the gateways in the initial install causes filtering, but a reboot re-writes this file to clear any content filtering.

( I am assuming that PORN is not reachable through your Grase network)

The default DNS Server in 3.8 is the OpenDNS Family Shield (https://www.opendns.com/setupguide/#familyshield). If you've not changed your DNS settings then that's where the problem will be.
