You can gain root access and then reset your own account password.

Assuming you are talking about the password for the admin interface,
you'll need to edit the MySQL database directly.
The sql command is REPLACE INTO `auth` VALUES
('admin','5c0aaa28ef1b32d86101b59835766187befb98c2a88c6286c'); which
needs to be executed on the radmin database.

Hi there stupid question
I'm on version 3.7.7

when trying this i get

mysql> REPLACE INTO `auth` VALUES
    -> ('admin','5c0aaa28ef1b32d86101b59835766187befb98c2a88c6286c');
ERROR 1136 (21S01): Column count doesn't match value count at row 1
mysql>
