Good afternoon!  This time of year is heavy on instruction.  Thank you for making attendance a priority.

New Hire

It is my pleasure to introduce our new STEM and Math teacher, Ms. Molly Byrne. Ms. Byrne earned her Bachelor’s degree from Regis University in Denver and her Master’s degree in Education from National Louis University. Outside the classroom, she enjoys playing and coaching lacrosse and is excited to get to know the students and community of Saint Andrew. Please join us for a welcome coffee at 8:15 a.m. on Wednesday, November 19, to meet Ms. Byrne and extend a warm Saint Andrew welcome.

The Heart of Saint Andrew

Our families are the heart of Saint Andrew School. We’re collecting short quotes to feature on our website and in materials for prospective families. Would you be willing to share a few sentences about what you love most about Saint Andrew?  Please complete this form here. Thank you!

Christmas Shopping Days

Santa’s elves are working hard to prepare for the upcoming holiday season. Christmas Shopping Days will take place on December 11 and 12.  This is an opportunity for students in K-8 to purchase small gifts for their loved ones. Interested volunteers (Virtus trained) can sign up here: 2025 Christmas Shopping Volunteers. More information is attached.

Out of Uniform

Thank you for supporting our Parish’s Fall Swing.  All students will have an out-of-uniform day on Friday, November 21.

Report Cards

We are a third of the way through the school year! Today is the last day of the first trimester.  Expect your child’s report card to go home on Friday, November 21.

Change of Date

We are excited for our third-grade students to present the Christmas Story in the church on Friday, December 19 at 10am.  Please note this is a change in date that was previously published. All are welcome!

Book and Bake Sale

Thank you for coming out to support the Book and Bake Sale last weekend. The sale profited $2,544 to support the class of 2026’s dinner dance. A special shout-out to the chairperson and all of the volunteers who made this such a successful event.

Save the Date

Please join us Saturday, November 29 at 5pm in the turf lot for our inaugural Christmas Tree Lighting. Bring the whole family to enjoy the sights and sounds of Christmas.

Season of Stewardship

At Sunday Masses last week and through November 16, Fr. Hank is inviting our Saint Andrew community to prayerfully consider our gifts of Time, Talent, and Treasure. As we reflect on how we can steward these gifts in the coming year, he asks for our generosity in supporting Saint Andrew Parish. Please visit  www.standrew.org/stewardship to learn more about this annual appeal.

Celebrating Sunday

Here is a great conversation starter on your way to or from Mass: Celebrating Sunday.  Thank you, Ms. Eley!
