Dear Families,
We are aware that recent activity involving immigration officials in our neighborhood may have caused concern for families. As a community rooted in faith and care, we want you to know that we are here to support and protect every member of our school family.
The safety of our students is always our top priority. Saint Andrew follows the protocols set by the Office of Catholic Schools. We will not allow access to our building without proper authorization, such as a signed warrant, and would immediately contact the Archdiocese Legal Department if needed.
Please know that a full lockdown would only occur if there were an immediate threat of violence near our campus. Should this happen, authorities will be called, and parents will be notified via email and robocall. In other situations, we would implement a HOLD protocol (a soft lockdown), which limits movement in and out of the school, but allows learning to continue while we assess the situation.
If you or your family ever feel unsafe during arrival or dismissal, please reach out to me directly. We are here to support you.
