Spring Sports
We are so proud of our student-athletes. We still have a few teams playing. Please consider coming out to support them!
8th boys volleyball team - league championship game Saturday, May 9, at noon at Queen of Angels
8th girls volleyball playoffs begin Wednesday, May 13 at St. Viator at 6pm
7th girls volleyball plays Monday at St. Viator 6pm, in the first round of playoffs
5-6th girls volleyball playoffs are May 15-16
Track State Sectional is tomorrow, May 9, at Shepard HS in Palos Heights
Spring Encore Concert
Encore Jr.’s Spring Concert, A Walk Down Broadway, will be Thursday, May 14th at 6:00pm in the auditorium. Admission is free and the doors will open at 5:45. The program will include broadway hits that are both old and new! A fun show for the entire family!
Art Walk
I am always amazed by the level of talent at Saint Andrew School. Did you miss the big show? We invite you to join us for an encore viewing on Monday, May 11, from 3:00–3:30 p.m. Thank you to Ms. Ream and her talented artists for creating such a wonderful display.
Alice @ Wonderland
Follow Alice on a magical journey filled with curious characters, music, and adventure. Performances will be held Friday, May 8 at 6:30 PM, Saturday, May 9 at 6:30 PM, and Sunday, May 10 at 2:30 PM in the auditorium. We hope to see you there!
Candor Health
We will be offering a special presentation from Candor Health on drug awareness and prevention to our 7th and 8th-grade students next week. This age-appropriate presentation is designed to educate students with accurate information about the dangers of drug and substance use, help them develop healthy decision-making skills, and provide them with practical tools to navigate peer pressure and social influences.
Parent Tour
Do you have a friend or neighbor looking for a school with strong community and academics? Please invite them to our upcoming group tours on May 12 and May 26 at 9am.
2026–2027 Sports Registration
Registration for 2026–2027 sports (grades 4–8) is now open. All forms must be completed by June 2. Please take a few minutes to carefully review and complete each section. There are only a few steps, and timely completion is essential. Rosters and schedules are developed during the summer months, so meeting this deadline is critical to ensuring accurate team placement and planning. Don’t forget, all student-athletes must have a current sports physical and a signed concussion form on file. These documents can be found on our Athletics Homepage.
Parent Like a Champion Today Course - Mandatory for Grades 4–8 Athletic Families
At Saint Andrew, we believe strongly in fostering a positive, supportive environment for our student-athletes. As part of this commitment, all parents of students participating in athletics in grades 4–8 are required to complete the Parent Like a Champion Today course. New athletic parents are required to complete it, and returning parents are always welcome to revisit the course as a refresher. When registering, select “Use Coupon Code.” Once logged in, enter the code Parent2025 to waive the fee.
End-of-Year Teacher Bonus
Our dedicated teachers and staff work tirelessly each day to provide an exceptional education and a caring environment for our students. While they receive far less compensation than many of their public school counterparts, their commitment, passion, and results rival any school system. Your generosity to our Teacher Bonus Fund is a meaningful way to show appreciation for all they do and will send them into the summer feeling recognized and supported. The fund will be open until May 29. Thank you for your thoughtful consideration and continued support of Saint Andrew School.

Mother’s Day
Happy Mother’s Day to all of the wonderful mothers and all those who lovingly fill that role in the lives of our students. Mothers are often our first teachers, our biggest cheerleaders, and the steady lighthouse guiding us through life’s stormy seas. Your love, sacrifice, strength, and support truly bless Saint Andrew School. Thank you for all that you do for your children and our school community. Wishing you a joyful and beautiful Mother’s Day!
