Good afternoon! It was a pleasure to spend time with our fabulous 8th graders in Washington, D.C. this week. The experience created lasting memories for our students and their chaperones.

Springfield, IL

Please keep our 7th-grade students and their chaperones in your prayers. They will be traveling to our state capital, Springfield, next week.

Religion Assessment

Students in grades K-8 will be taking the annual religion assessment on April 30.

Earth Day

Thank you to everyone who helped care for our Earth this week. It was wonderful to see so many students choosing eco-friendly ways to travel to school. Our middle school students had a great trip to Wrigley Field, where they assisted with neighborhood cleanup. Our younger students took pride in helping to clean up our campus and surrounding area, while our youngest learners enjoyed a visit from Streets and Sanitation to learn more about the city’s recycling program.

Bingo

A big shout-out to everyone who contributed to the success of our first High Stakes and Handbags Bingo Night! It was a ton of fun, and we couldn’t have done it without our amazing committee and incredible army of volunteers. While the final numbers are still being calculated, we know the event generated meaningful support for our school, and an evening full of great memories. Thank you!

8th Grade Ribbon Ceremony

Our annual Ribbon Ceremony will take place after the 9am school mass on Wednesday, May 20.

School Advisory Board Elections

When parents are engaged, our school thrives. Your time, energy, and support make a real difference in our students’ success and strengthen our community. Consider being part of our School Advisory Board. If you are interested in placing your name in nomination for the School Advisory Board, please complete a School Advisory Board Application. Completed applications are due by May 8, and voting will take place from May 15 to May 25. School Board members attend one formal meeting each month and serve on committees that support and enhance various aspects of Saint Andrew School.
