Good Afternoon!
We are looking forward to an evening of bingo and laughs. Thank you to all who were able to make it work in their schedule to attend or volunteer.
Teacher Appreciation
You truly spoiled us! Thank you for a wonderful week! The coffee, breakfast, treats, and kind messages made us feel so appreciated. A special thank you to SAPO and the committee chairs for organizing such a thoughtful celebration.
Earth Friendly Travel Day
Join us in celebrating Earth Friendly Travel Day on Wednesday, April 22! Students are encouraged to walk, bike, scooter, take the CTA, or carpool to school as a way to care for our planet and reduce pollution. Bikes and scooters can be stored in the gym. As a reward, students who participate may come to school out of uniform on Friday, April 24. Let’s work together to make a positive impact!
Weather Bug
The Weather Bug has returned! Thanks to a very generous donor, a new Weather Bug has been installed at Saint Andrew School. The Weather Bug is a weather monitoring system that includes a small outdoor station installed atop Saint Andrew School. It collects real-time data such as temperature, wind speed, humidity, and rainfall. This means our students and community can access accurate, up-to-the-minute weather conditions right from our campus. It’s also a great educational tool, helping students explore science concepts and better understand weather patterns in a hands-on way. Saint Andrew Weather Bug

To Do
Several families have not returned their 26-27 information forms. These forms give us vital information such as emergency contacts and medical information. Please complete ASAP.
School Advisory Board Elections
When parents are engaged, our school thrives. Your time, energy, and support make a real difference in our students’ success and strengthen our community. Consider being part of our School Advisory Board. If you are interested in placing your name in nomination for the School Advisory Board, please complete a School Advisory Board Application. Completed applications are due by May 8, and voting will take place from May 15 to May 25. School Board members attend one formal meeting each month and serve on committees that support and enhance various aspects of Saint Andrew School.
Washington, D.C.
Please keep our 8th grade students and their chaperones in your prayers. They will be traveling to Washington, D.C. next week.
