Hi,

As you suggested in your other post, this suggests your graphics drivers are not supporting the operations done in our display shader. As stated in our platform requirements, Golaem needs OpenGL 3.3 (2010) or above

What is your graphic card model?
Are your drivers up to date?

Cheers,
Alex

I see, well I had an issue once with a graphic driver update on a laptop where Maya was choosing the Intel Graphic Card and the OpenGL interface was not working properly.

You can check this in the output window which appears when you launch maya.
It should display something like the log below, and give you a hint about what Maya is picking up.
When I had this issue, the only solution was either to rollback my driver update, or update Maya

Amd RX 580 series. I had a feeling this caused the issue as it just updated in the last two days to the newest driver. I tried to install the amd radeon pro driver which apparently has more compatibility and that also did not work. I am now thinking i'll have to find a way to roll back to a previous driver version that I had that was allowing golaem to work correctly. Either that, or somehow golaem/maya is not using the right graphics card properties, or isn't reading the correct file dependencies it needs to accept the new driver.

Golaem was working a few days ago on this same setup, so I don't assume somehow that updating the graphics drivers would have removed all OpenGl, and maya itself seems to be having no issues.
Perhaps it is the golaem plugin that is having issues reading the correct locations for the information it needs because the drivers installed somewhere it hasn't updated to look for.
