Hello!
After installation, Maya does not recognize the file and therefore does not
launch golaem once in the software. So it probably can't read the file to
activate but even after all the tricks the plug-in doesn't work. Even when I
tried with the trial version, maya does not want to display golaem no matter
what. I tried to move the files and change the arnold version but nothing
works, the plug-in doesn't launch.

Can you please copy the error messages you got from Maya ?
You're mentioning you're having Maya 22 and Python 2. Have you installed the Golaem 8.1.4 Python 2 package for Maya 2022

The error message you attached does not prevent Golaem to load. It's an issue with mtoa which has been fixed in recent versions
You can just ignore it and load Golaem from the plugin manager
Let us know if there are error when actually loading Golaem

You can get rid of it by installing the right version of GOlaem for Mtoa
