Details: Hello, I have setup a test shot to verify the shader were working on
the included asset. However for an unknown reason to me, the shader
assignment is not working. Scene settings are fine. Shader are listed as
imported and connected. Looking at the cgha file my shader assignment and
switch shader appear correct as well. Can I get some insight into what is at
issue for the shader assignment to not work on the asset when generating them
with the pop tool. I am sure it is something simple, but unfortunately I have
been stuck for a while now. Thanks.

What issue is this an indicator of?

What is your issue exactly?
The shader is not assigned or the variation is not working ?
I was expecting to see some Golaem messages saying the shaders were not found

The issue is in render and viewport the shader assignment is not working.

I thought maybe I sent my response too quickly without enough detail. So to expand on the issue more. Shader assignment and shader switching are not working. I set up this asset using switchshader, and geo changes as can be seen in the image geo switching is working as expected. My issue is no shader appear on the asset in the viewport and at render. As part of my assumption that I did something wrong. I replaced the geo in the asset geometry tab and rebuilt the rendering types. reoutput the gcg file. The checks say the shaders are found.

Hello Nicolas. I wanted to let you know I figured out the issue. I did not realize the assets were set up with a second uv map. This secondary map was broken and as such I assume this was the conflict. Once I removed the secondary map. The shaders worked.

Just to be sure: you had error messages at gcg export time regarding this? It should be detected.
