The Commission on Cultural Affairs will meet on Monday, March, 9, 2015, at 4:15 p.m. in the community room of the Walton Building, 300 S. Providence Road.

Small Request Funding

Small Request applications are being accepted on an ongoing basis and are open to non-profit arts organizations that meet the eligibility requirements. The maximum amount of funding per project is $750. Applications must be turned in to the OCA no later than two months prior to the project’s start date; i.e. if your project begins on May 15 your application must be received by March 15. Commemorative Poster

Mid-Missouri artists are invited to submit their artwork for the city’s annual Commemorative Poster competition; honorarium is $1,000 and the postmark deadline is March 27. For more information and to submit an application see the “Announcements” section at www.GoColumbiaMo.com/Arts


Annual Arts Funding

The city’s annual arts funding application and guidelines are available at the OCA or online atwww.GoColumbiaMo.com/Arts (click on “annual” under Funding Opportunities for all funding forms). The deadline for the optional staff review of proposals is April 1. The final due date for all funding applications is May 1; applications must be in the OCA by 5 p.m. that day. This is not a postmark deadline. If you are mailing your application, allow additional time for the city’s mail room to process items after the Post Office does so. Late applications cannot be considered.
