Good Afternoon:

During the October 27, 2016, Public Hearing on the proposed Unified Development Code (UDC) it was noted that there were several errors in the zoning district conversion map  that was released on October 24, 2016. Pursuant to these comments, the conversion map has been updated to correct what were believed to be the errors that were mentioned during the hearing.

The attached link will guide interested citizens to the updated map.  Instructions on how to use the map are shown on the map's home page.

The conversion map is not the Official Zoning Map as referenced in the UDC. The map is for "illustrative and comparison" purposes only. It is possible that conversion errors may still exist.  If you believe you have identified an error please contact our office for verification and correction.

It should be further noted that property currently classified as C-2 and located outside of the boundaries of the M-DT Regulating Plan (the area contained inside the "purple line" on the map) will be proposed to be reclassified to a district other than M-DT.   No M-DT zoning is proposed to exist on property located outside the boundaries of the M-DT Regulating Plan.

The proposed future zoning, as shown on the conversion map, for parcels zoned C-2 and located outside the boundaries of the M-DT Regulating Plan is for "illustrative and comparison" purposes only. The official reclassification of such parcels shall occur as part of a separate rezoning action following parcel specific notification  to each affected property owner.  Only those properties located inside the M-DT Regulating Plan are proposed to be rezoned as part of the UDC adoption process.

Additional information regarding the "proposed" zoning designations is available within the proposed UDC draft that can be found at the following link or by contacting the Community Development Department at 573-874-7239.
