The City of Columbia's Community Development Department will hold a HomeWorks Home Maintenance Training on Saturday, February 28. This free informational class for homeowners and other interested individuals covers basic home repairs, preventative home maintenance, how to decide between doing-it-yourself or hiring a contractor, and insulation and energy efficiency. The training will be held on Saturday, February 28, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Family Impact Center, 105 E. Ash St., Ste. 200 (2nd Floor).


This class is required to participate in the City of Columbia Housing Rehabilitation Program. Participants in the Rehabilitation Program will receive a free home maintenance guide book (1 per household). Other attendees may purchase a book for $25 (cash or check only). Purchase of a book is not required.
