FY 2019 CDBG and HOME Funding RFP Training

The City of Columbia Community Development Department is hosting its annual Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and HOME RFP Training this Thursday, March 1, 2018, from 6:30pm-8:00pm in City Hall, Room 1A/1B. 

Each year the City of Columbia receives federal funds from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) due to its population, demographics, and federal appropriations. The City estimates it will receive approximately $830,000 in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and $430,000 in HOME funds in FY 2019. These funds primarily benefit low to moderate income households, and can be used for economic development, fair housing, community facilities, neighborhood needs, and affordable housing.  If your organization is interested in applying, please come and attend this training to learn how to apply.  The application period will be open from March 1, 2018 through April 30, 2018 11:59pm.  For more information, please contact Randy Cole, 573-874-6321.
