Be a part of choosing the book for the 2015 One Read program. Between now and April 24, cast your vote for either “The Good Lord Bird” by James McBride or “Station Eleven” by Emily St. John Mandel. Vote at oneread.org or any library building through April 24.
The deadline for the City’s Annual Arts Funding Process is approaching. Applications must be in the OCA by 5 p.m. on Friday, May 1. This is NOT a postmark deadline -- if you mail your application, please allow additional time for the city’s mail room to process items after the Post Office does so. Late applications will not be considered.
Small Request applications are being accepted on an ongoing basis and are open to non-profit arts organizations that meet the eligibility requirements. The maximum amount of funding per project is 750. Applications must be turned in to the OCA no later than two months prior to the project’s start date; i.e. if your project begins on June 15 your application must be received by April 15.
