Annual City Arts Funding
Paperwork
for fiscal year 2017 (signed contracts, revised narratives and budgets, as well
as responses to stipulations) are due back to the OCA on or before December 15
and must be received before payment can be made.
Applications for the city’s fiscal year 2018 arts funding will be available beginning February 1. The online application can be accessed through the Foundant portal, located on the Annual Funding page of the OCA’s website.
Small Request Funding
Small Request applications are being accepted on an ongoing basis and are open to non-profit arts organizations that meet the eligibility requirements. The maximum amount of funding per project is $750. Applications must be turned in to the OCA no later than two months prior to the project’s start date; i.e. if your project begins on February 15 your application must be received by December 15. CoMoGives
This campaign, coordinated by the Community Foundation of Central Missouri, will be collecting donations on behalf of 92 Columbia area nonprofits through December 31. One of the participating organizations is the Columbia Arts Fund, an endowment fund created by the City of Columbia to provide resources to organizations that foster practice, education, accessibility, and appreciation of the arts. The purpose of the Fund is to augment funding for these organizations. Visit www.comogives.org to learn more.
Columbia Values Diversity Celebration
The 2017 Columbia Values Diversity Celebration will be held on Thursday, January 12, 2017, from 7:00-8:45am. OCA organizes the event, an annual celebration of the life and teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., which features a community breakfast and music as well as the presentation of the Columbia Values Diversity Awards.
