City Arts Funding
At their meeting on July 14, the Commission on Cultural Affairs will review their recommendations for funding of local arts organizations. The meeting will be held in the community room at the Walton Building, 300 S. Providence Road, and will start at 4:30 p.m. The public hearing portion of the meeting will not begin until 5 p.m. Applicants are invited to attend and address the Commission, but are not required to do so. After the Commission acts on their recommendations, they will be forwarded to City Council for review. Applicants will be notified of the date and time of the Council meeting, which provides an additional opportunity for the public to speak prior to finalizing the funding recommendations.
Input on the Annual Arts Funding Process
A survey form requesting feedback on the funding process was sent to applicants along with their scores and preliminary award amounts. Please complete the survey as soon as possible so we can continue to assess and improve our funding process. Your input is important to us as it helps us to measure the clarity of the application form and the overall ease of the process.
