We released an update today to the Globus Transfer service, Web Application, and to Globus Connect Server.
CHANGELOG
Transfer
The Globus Transfer service supports IPv6 at the API level.
Removed a deprecated feature that allowed source and destination endpoints in individual transfer items. Source and destination endpoints can be specified only at the transfer request level.
Globus Connect Server
Mapped collections are now delete-protected by default.
GCS v4 host endpoint user message and user message link are no longer migrated to v5 collections.
See the GCS Changelog for more information about this release.
Web Application
The web application’s integration with Globus Groups has been updated to use the latest version of the Groups API, resulting in simplified management, bug fixes, and feature enhancements throughout.
Creation + Settings
Group creation and editing updated to reflect the simplified policy options in our new Groups API.
Policies, Signup Fields, and Terms & Conditions can all be set and updated in a single, streamlined form.
Members
The Members list supports filtering by status for managers and administrators.
Actions
Membership self-actions (i.e., leave, accept, decline, join, etc.) have had their UIs improved to indicate the current role and status of all your memberships.
Please contact sup...@globus.org or send mail to the listhost if you have any questions or concerns.
