I've set up a closed group for my organization and members are slowly requesting to join. Is it possible to get an email notification when someone asks to join instead of having to log in regularly and check the group status? Sometimes these additions are time sensitive and I don't want everyone to have to send a separate email to me letting me know they've submitted a request.

Hi William,

If you are the group admin or manager, you should be getting emails when someone requests to join your group.

I would double check the email address associated with your admin or manager identity.  You can do this by expanding the identity information in the Settings page of the web app (https://app.globus.org/settings/identities).  The email sender is nor...@groups.globus.org, so you should also check your spam.  If you still don't know why you aren't getting emails, please file a support ticket at sup...@globus.org, and our team will help troubleshoot.

To unsubscribe from this group and stop receiving emails from it, send an email to discuss+u...@globus.org.
