Is it possible to get the checksum that Globus calculates for file integrity?

And can someone explain 'bytes_checksummed', which can be found in transfer's debug data?

With respect to the second question, https://docs.globus.org/api/transfer/task/ defines 'bytes_checksummed' as:

 

If sync level 3 is used, the number of bytes checksummed while determining which files need to be transferred.

We're also working on workflow documentation involving Globus and are wondering if there are any major interface/terminology changes (e.g., switching from endpoint to collection) planned for the near future?

You can also download the list of successfully transferred files and their checksums and sizes from the web app activity details page.

The introduction of the concept of a collection reflects the major architectural changes introduced in Globus Connect Server version 5.  We aren't planning another major version update of Globus Connect Server any time soon, so I don't expect any major terminology changes.

The web UI, however, is updated often.  That said, we don't have any really major changes planned for the next quarter.  Beyond that, I can't say.
