We released an update today to Transfer and the Web Application.
HIGHLIGHTS
Today we have released full support for removal of guest collections that are no longer in use.
Administrators can configure a mapped collection policy to automatically delete guest collections that have not been accessed within a specified number of days.
Mapped collection administrators can exempt specific guest collections from the auto-delete policy in cases where, for example, data must be shared long term.
The deletion deadline is reset when any data access operation is performed on the guest collection, including a directory listing from the Web App file manager.
All explicit guest collection owners, administrators, activity managers, activity monitors, and access managers will receive email notifications 7 days and 1 day before a guest will be deleted if it remains unused.
The Globus Connect Server CLI can be used to configure an auto-delete policy on endpoints running Globus Connect Server 5.4.82 or later.
Transfer
When guest collections are nearing automatic deletion due to a lack of use, Transfer will send email notifications to users with roles on those guest collections.
Web Application
Automatic deletion (“Auto-Delete”) information has been added to mapped and guest collection overviews where applicable.
"Started by Me" is the new default filter for the Flow Runs list page.
Console
Transfer: Endpoint node information is now visible.
Search: Index roles can now be managed.
