After February 18, 2025, transfer task information will return the collection name at the time of task submission. Specifically, the Globus Transfer API task document fields "source_endpoint_display_name" and "destination_endpoint_display_name" will always contain the values at the time of task submission and will no longer reflect any updates to collection names after the task has been submitted.
