Flows HA is coming soon; start preparing your applications now

Globus Flows will soon support high assurance (HA) for sensitive or regulated data in flows and runs.  If you maintain an application that interacts with the Flows API (directly, or via a Globus SDK), please review the upcoming changes to the Flows API to determine if your application will be affected.

• It will be possible for flow authors to assign Globus Auth authentication policies to flows, which will then govern access to potentially sensitive information in a flow and its runs.

• When listing flows, HA flows omit the values of their definition and input_schema fields (these fields will be present and null)

• When listing runs, runs of HA flows omit the values of their details (this field will be present and null)

• Routes that interact with potentially sensitive data on an HA flow or its runs may raise a Globus Auth Requirements Error (GARE)

If your application is affected, prepare for this change by October 27.
