Dear Globus Community,

I have a general question about how one can figure out what a Guest collections base path is after it has been created. It does not look like the globus-connect-server collection show command will display this information.

best,

Joshua

Hi Joshua,

Try adding the --include-private-policies option.  The base path is hidden from general users, so you need to be an administrator, and use the --include-private-policies option to display it.

(You can tell it’s a private field by checking https://docs.globus.org/globus-connect-server/v5.4/api/schemas/Collection_1_2_0_schema/: The collection_base_path field is marked Private, and the API call https://docs.globus.org/globus-connect-server/v5.4/api/openapi_Collections/#listCollections says that Collection Administrator access is required to see the information.)
