We released an update to Transfer this morning.

CHANGELOG

Added support to the Globus Transfer API for filter rules to exclude matching items from recursive transfers. Please see task submission documentation for details.

Support for applying filter rules will be added soon to the Globus Command Line Interface and Web application.
