sync-level mtime behavior with missing target files

I want to use sync-level mtime to (hopefully) make file transfers faster.  When using that option, and files exist on the source but not on the target, do those files also get transferred?

Good Morning Nils,

When leveraging the 'Mod time' based (sync level 2) option, any files that are present on the Source, but not on the Destination, will be included in the transfer.
