Dear Globus Connect Server Admins,

Beginning September 1, 2025, Globus Connect Server packages for CentOS Linux 7, RedHat Enterprise Linux 7, and other Enterprise Linux 7 variants will no longer receive updates, including bug fixes and security patches.

Globus policy is to discontinue Globus Connect Server updates when a Linux distribution reaches end of life. Our ongoing support of EL 7 variants well beyond end of life has been a policy exception. Organizations still running EL 7 variants should migrate to a Globus Connect Server supported Linux distribution by September 1, 2025 to ensure continued security and stability of their Globus Connect Server deployment.
